Used the GPS in my iPhone to record this track.
Beautiful sunny day!
In a previous blog entry I wrote about the features I want in an eReader so that it could replace a printed book. None of the products currently on the market give me everything I want, though a few are close. Something changed. Click read more to find out what.

Last month, probably true. This month, maybe. Next month, absolutely not.
A friend recently asked me if I would rather that the US be attacked due to the lack of information obtained via water boarding and other "enhanced interrogation techniques" than to allow said techniques. We sent each other a couple of rounds of email in our discussion. I thought it would be interesting to bring my side of that conversation to my blog. Click "Read More" to see my take on the topic.
I wrote an article on a technique to find objects called "Star Hopping" and it was published on line at AstronomyLog.com. Pretty fun for me! Check it out!

Golden Retrievers have the unique ability to simultaneously convince you that you are their "Lord and Master", while also selectively responding to your instructions.
Just not one of the many that are on the market and especially in the eBook market as it currently exists. I'm interested in buying an electronic reader to replace the dozens of paper-based books and magazines I buy every year. But I'm not going to buy until it truly replaces the way I currently use printed stuff. The current readers are close but not close enough for me to spend the money they are asking.
Read more to see how I use paper and how the eReader could replace it if the sellers would give me what I want.
I'm spending some time learning how to create websites using the content management system (CMS) called Drupal. This website you're viewing right now is my first attempt. Tell me what you think!
